This piece was done a few months back in Corel Painter 8 as a sample book cover. I ended up turning it into my business card.
I created a custom brush variant in Painter to make the brushed metal texture.

This has also been used as the March 2006 cover to Fantasy & Science Fiction Magazine.

I had some time this morning to do some revisions to a piece I did last year. It was originally split into five cards for Fantasy Flight Games "A Game of Thrones" CCG.
From left to right we have- Ser Osmund Kettleback, Ser Meryn Trant, Ser Barriston Selmy, Ser Jamie Lannister and Ser Preston Greenfield.

Historical Western Brothel

This was completed around September of 2004.
One of the higher level Men's Magazines was looking for an illustrator to do a double page painting for an article on "Brothels of the Old West" and I GLADLY accepted.
I did a photoshoot with the Asian lady on the left (Kia) and the two babes (Monica & Mechel) on the right. I have NEVER sweated that much in my life. I felt like I was thirteen years old. For the skin tones I was trying to represent the three prominent types of "professionals" working in the trade around this time: asian, caucasian, and latina.

Star Trek Klingon-Prime Directive Cover

This is a cover I finished for SFG for their new line of Star Trek D-20 RPGs.
Klingons Attack!! The two other creatures in the painting are alien races that the Klingons enslave. The bear-ape is called a Slirdarian and the other creature is called a Dunkar.
Done with Painter 9.1.

This is an illustration from the recently released A Game of Thrones RPG.
It was done last year with Corel Painter.

Suddenly Pyp was beside him. "Three to two will make for better sport," the small boy said cheerfully. He dropped his visor and slid out his sword. Before Jon could even think to protest, Grenn had stepped up to make a third.
